Refugees

Hey guys! I know there was some hesitation from a few people about having our Empire shadow guild on a PVP server, and I understand that - as I said before, the only reason I had suggested Jung Ma as our evil server was because I had a co-worker that was there. However, even if I played a ton there, our schedules usually don't match up well.
I also found out that my EQ2 guild and their alliance guild is Empire on the server called Shien - its a PvE RP server. Perhaps this is more to our liking? MANY of the players there would make 1st class Refs, and though they wouldn't change guilds, (much as we wouldn't really join theirs) they would make a great alliance imho.
So the poll is here to get some feedback from you guys. Happy Voting!

I have Empire toons already created on Covenant so any other server has equal impact on me. Granted, they are only 18 so it is of little impact anyway.

That being said, I prefer a PvE server personally because if I really want to PvP I can queue for it. If I just want to quest, I can't really turn off PvP on a PvP server.

I made a toon, I like her, but i can go either way.

I have a level 16 on Jung Ma. If a change is going to be made I would prefer it be asap. I plan to start additional dark side characters very soon.
Right now i can deal with starting over, but to wait much longer I would not be so interested.

this is exactly why we are running the poll. If the majority of the guild feels strongly about not being on Jung Ma, then we will make a change. And that will be sooner rather than later. Give the poll a few days to give a majority to weigh in and then the CoE will discuss it and announce a decision.

I've got a 14 on Jung Ma, I'm fine with making a new one on a different server, but how will we choose? I just want it to have a cool name!

The CoE will discuss it in the coming meeting on Wednesday, but i'd put safe bets on there being a move, based on the poll. We gotta discuss it in a committee =p

Ok, CoE voted to move Empire server to The Shadowlands - PVE (East Coast) --- for a few reasons. No PvP, because most people weren't interested in an all-the-time pvp server, and no RP because some brought up the point that they've had bad experiences on RP servers, running across dorks and suchlike. Also, since we tend to make our "evil" guild name the Shadow Refugees, it seemed appropriate to be on the Shadowlands =) I've already rolled a toon there myself named Myopia.
