Refugees

I know apparently the "Imperial Server" for the guild is Jung Ma... its an RP-PVP.... i mean i hate "uber people" who will just kill someone cause they can. Is there maybe a different PVE server we can be on for Imperial?

I know we are mainly republic but I do want to try all aspects of the game

Jung Ma is the official dark side server choice for us due to the fact that we have some friends outside of Refugees who are on that server. As we move into running specific nights on our 'Shadow Alts', I believe that you will find that:

a) RP is really not so bad
b) PVP when you have a good group of friends around you is not so bad, and can actually be quite fun
c) it's all Joe's fault!

Lol it is my fault... and really, because of the way our schedules run, I probably wont be able to play with him much at all - for pete's sake, he's gotta be nearing 50 already, and I usually work mornings and he's usually afternoons. If there are people that don't want to pick that server, I really don't mind changing it. If we already have some toons set up there, we can keep it. I'm just trying to get to 20 on my sage =p

I mean I know I don't have any pull and you can keep it wherever you choose. I was just making a suggestion cause I do want to have Sith Char to try.

A PVP server may not be that bad with a good group of friends, but how often will we be on with a good group of friends if it is just a side line thing for people who want to get their dark side on occasionally? I do want to try the Empire some, but I have four Republic, so it's not like I will be on their much. I do get the RL Friends thing, but if they aren't going to be on either, it may not be the greatest choice for the guild. I'll roll there either way, but I respectfully and with no desire to offend anyone suggest that the GHC reconsider this one.

I concur.

One of the reasons I enjoy having the Empire side on an RP-PvP server is the distinct differences it brings. We have a PvE server for our mains, we'll do PvE things on it -- probably even up to, and including, raiding. The RP-PvP server brings something different from that: the chance to RP, PvP or RP-PvP. It's not a simple matter of 'ganking teh n00bz' when you've gained some contacts in the community. I've done a bit of RP-PvP (making the distinction, again) in Fallen Earth and can tell you that it is something truly different and very entertaining. We just need to make contacts (at some point) in that community (both Empire and Republic sides) to really get it going, if we want to do it.
